ANGRA Guitarist To Miss Brazilian Shows; ALMAH’s MARCELO BARBOSA To Step In

Marcelo Barbosa will play three shows with ANGRA in Brazil as the temporary replacement for Kiko Lourero who will be unable to make these dates due to family reasons.

Barbosa (pictured below with ANGRA) will make his live debut with ANGRA on Saturday, June 11 in Suzano, São Paulo.

Barbosa is a recognized guitar master and teacher in Brazil. In addition to his career as the founder, owner and professor of GTR Guitar Institute, he has played with such bands as ALMAH and KHALLICE.

ALMAH‘s third studio album is due later in the year. The band’s lead singer, Edu Falaschi (also in ANGRA), stated in recent interviews that the new CD will contain “the best guitar work” he ever had on one of his albums.
