California metallers BONDED BY BLOOD are offering fans a free download of a brand new track, titled “Restless Mind”. The song is taken from the band’s third studio album, “The Aftermath”, which will be released on July3 in North America (one day earlier internationally) via Earache Records. The CD was tracked at at Darth Mader Music in Los Angeles with producer and former MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader (DEVILDRIVER, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH).
Commented BONDED BY BLOOD frontman Mauro Gonzalez: “We chose ‘Restless Mind’ as the first single because it showcases a few different elements of the new album. The lyrics are basically about the troubles we go through in modern society, such as insomnia due to stress of high expectations.”

BONDED BY BLOOD is currently on tour in North America with KITTIE, BLACKGUARD and THE AGONIST. BONDED BY BLOOD drummer Carlos Regalado says, “So far this tour has been an amazing experience! We have made so many new friends and have been enjoying the honor of sharing the stage every night with such awesome bands like THE AGONIST, BLACKGUARD and, of course, KITTIE. So much has happened in just three weeks, and we look forward to the next month of shows together. More tours to be announced soon! Be ready for ‘The Aftermath’!”
Regarding BONDED BY BLOOD‘s new album title, Regalado previously said, “[The album title has] got a simple meaning behind it — the aftermath of all the shit we’ve been through in the past couple years: member changes, unexpected problems on the road, personal issues, a lot of obstacles that almost ended BONDED BY BLOOD.
“This is what we love, this band is everything to us, we weren’t going to let other people dictate and destroy our aspirations and dreams.
“‘The Aftermath’ cover art is just straight up badass, it shows what society is doing wrong and how things need to change, or mother earth will fuck you up.”
BONDED BY BLOOD‘s second album, 2010’s “Exiled To Earth”, sold around 600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 86 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
