CANNIBAL CORPSE and BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME will headline this year’s “Summer Slaughter Tour”. A new band for the trek set to be announced each Sunday beginning this coming weekend. The exact cities and dates will be revealed at a later date.
CANNIBAL CORPSE will release its twelfth studio album, “Torture”, on March 13 via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2009’s “Evisceration Plague” offers up 12 tracks of maniacally precise, soul-searing death metal. “Torture” was again produced by HATE ETERNAL‘s Erik Rutan at his own Mana Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida as well as Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, and features the maniacal cover art by longtime CANNIBAL CORPSE artist Vincent Locke.
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME‘s latest album, “The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues”, was released in April 2011 via Metal Blade Records. The three-song, 30-minute tour de force was recorded at Canada’s Metalworks Studios and Rattlebox Studios and helmed by the Grammy award–winning producer David Bottrill (TOOL, MUSE, KING CRIMSON, DREAM THEATER).
