CRADLE OF FILTH Frontman Vs. Security At France’s LEZ’ARTS SCÉNIQUES Festival; Video Available

Two short and blurry video clips have surfaced (see below) which purportedly show CRADLE OF FILTH frontman Dani “Filth” Davey in a physical altercation with a security guard at the July 14 Léz’Arts Scéniques festival in Sélestat, France. A photo of the same incident taken by MADBALL bassist Hoya Roc and uploaded to the Lockerz.comsocial networking site is also available.

Although details are scarce, Léz’Arts Scéniques organizers explained in a posting on the festival web site that they were forced to call the security and local police to subdue the “aggressive and unmanageable” Filth, who had become “dangerous to himself and others.”

Roc included a caption with his picture which described the scene as follows: “When metal fantasy goes wrong !! Haha cradle of filth singer gettin yoked up by security”

Due to the injuries Filth sustained at the Léz’Arts Scéniques festival, CRADLE OF FILTH was forced to cancel its appearance at this year’s edition of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 4-6, 2011 in Wacken, Germany.
