DEVILDRIVER: New Video Interview With DEZ FAFARA

Mike Sullivan of ExploreMusic conducted an interview with vocalist Dez Fafara of California metallers DEVILDRIVER at this year’s edition of the Heavy T.O.festival, which was held July 23-24, 2011 at Downsview Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can now watch the chat below.

DEVILDRIVER bassist Aaron “Bubble” Patrick (ex-BURY YOUR DEAD) suffered a back injury earlier in the month but was able to recover in time to perform with the rest of the band at the Heavy T.O. and Heavy MTL festivals last weekend.

Bubble joined DEVILDRIVER as the replacement for Jonathan Miller, who quit DEVILDRIVER in March, calling it “the most difficult decision of my life” but “something that I needed to do for myself.”

“Beast”, the fifth album from DEVILDRIVER, sold a little over 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart.
