DEVILDRIVER: New Video Interview With MIKE SPREITZER

On November 13, Vivien of Italian web radio Linearock.it recently conducted an interview with guitarist Mike Spreitzer of California metallers DEVILDRIVER before the band’s show in Milan, Italy with MACHINE HEAD. You can now watch the chat below.

Spreitzer was forced to sit out the band’s August 2011 South American tour after suffering a seizure.

DEVILDRIVER bassist Aaron “Bubble” Patrick (ex-BURY YOUR DEAD) suffered a back injury in July but was able to recover in time to perform with the rest of the band at the Heavy T.O. and Heavy MTL festivals in Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec, Canada, respectively.

Bubble joined DEVILDRIVER as the replacement for Jonathan Miller, who quit DEVILDRIVER in March, calling it “the most difficult decision of my life” but “something that I needed to do for myself.”

“Beast”, the fifth album from DEVILDRIVER, sold a little over 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart.
