FEAR FACTORY Frontman Sings METALLICA’s ‘Enter Sandman’ (Video)

Video footage of FEAR FACTORY frontman Burton C. Bell singing a cover version of the METALLICA classic “Enter Sandman” on April 11 as part of the “Rock-A-Holic” live rock metal karaoke night at Skinny’s Lounge in North Hollywood, California can be seen below.

Bell previously recorded a cover version of “Enter Sandman” for the 2000 METALLICA tribute album “Metallic Assault – A Tribute To Metalica”. Joining him on the track were guitarist John Christ, bassist Robert Trujillo and drummer Tommy Aldridge.

“Enter Sandman” was featured as the opening track and lead single from METALLICA‘s eponymous 1991 album. The song was produced by Bob Rock, and the music was written by Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich, and James Hetfield. Vocalist and guitarist Hetfield wrote the lyrics, which deal with the simplest concept of a child’s nightmares.

FEAR FACTORY will perform its classic 1995 sophomore album, “Demanufacture”, in its entirety aboard the 2014 edition of the world’s biggest heavy metal cruise — 70000 Tons Of Metal — which will sail January 27-31.
