After extreme weather a festival tent collapsed on the Dicky Woodstock festival in Steenwijkerwold, The Netherlands. There were dozens of injuries.
At Dicky Woodstock’s pop festival in Steenwijkerwold in Overijssel, The Netherlands, a large tent collapsed due to extreme weather.
According to police officials, fifteen people were injured. They were brought to the hospital. According to a spokesman, they are not seriously injured. On Twitter a rumor was going around that someone would be killed, but that’s not true, police said. The wounded have bruises and fractures. In the tent were about 150 people.
This years Dicky Woodstock’s featured performances of The Deaf, Go Back To The Zoo and Rowwen Heze. Every year the festival attracts over twenty thousand visitors.
Last Year a tent collapsed at Belgium’s Pukkelpop, which resulted in the death of 5 people and over 140 injuries.
