KAMELOT Signs Japanese Deal For New Album

American melodic metallers KAMELOT have inked a deal with King Records for the Japanese release of their next album, tentatively due in the fall.

Commented KAMELOT guitarist Thomas Youngblood: “We are very excited about working again with King on the new album! We are also planning to return to Japan for some very special concerts with all the amazing fans there.”

KAMELOT returned to Gate Studio in Wolfsburg, Germany in January with Sascha Paeth producing, to begin recording its new album. The production is expected to be several months long and will include special guests, orchestra arrangements and much more.

KAMELOT will support Finnish/Swedish symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH on a North American tour in September and October.

KAMELOT‘s recently completed North American, South American and European tours featured guest singer Fabio Lione of RHAPSODY OF FIRE following the departure of KAMELOT‘s longtime frontman, Roy Khan. A permanent replacement for Khan has not yet been announced.
