KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Frontman Interviews ‘Trespass America’ Tourmates (Video)

Salty Rizz, the alter ego of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE vocalist Jesse Leach, conducted separate interviews TRIVIUM‘s Matt Heafy, BATTLECROSSKyle Gunther and Hiran Deraniyagala, and GOD FORBID‘s Byron Davis for “Getting To Know… You: A Show Bout Feelings”, the first in a presumably series of episodes spotlighting bands taking part in the Trespass America tour. Check it out below.

The Trespass America tour, which is being headlined by FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, kicked off on July 13 in Broomfield, Colorado. The trek, which will hit 31 cities before winding down on August 28 in Los Angeles, also features KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, POP EVIL, TRIVIUM, GOD FORBID, EMMURE and BATTLECROSS.

Trespass America is a joint venture with Europe’s Metal Hammer magazine, which is sponsoring a U.S. tour for the first time.

Jesse rejoined KILLSWITCH ENGAGE in February following the departure of Howard Jones.

Leach sang on KILLSWITCH ENGAGE‘s first self-titled album, which came out in 2000, and on their landmark 2002 Roadrunner debut “Alive Or Just Breathing”. Leach left the band in 2002 and was replaced by Jones, but his work on “Alive Or Just Breathing” has always been revered by diehard, longtime KILLSWITCH ENGAGE fans.
