Aethyris, former ABSU and current PANTHEON I guitarist, will be filling in for MELECHESH‘s Moloch during Sumerian black/thrash metal band’s “Lux Mundi” European tour with SAMAEL and KEEP OF KALESSIN.
Moloch, who is unable to take part in the trek due to his PHD commitments, spent many weeks with Aethyris meticulously going through the material that will be performed during the tour.
Comments MELECHESH mainman Ashmedi: “Aethyris fits in perfectly in the band , personally, ideologically and musically. MELECHESH sounds as tighter as ever.”
MELECHESH recently amicably parted ways with bassist Rahm, who joined the band last year. The remaining members of the group cited “professional reasons” as the reason for the split.
MELECHESH‘s latest album, “The Epigenesis”, was recorded in the newly built Babajim Studios in Istanbul, Turkey and was mixed by Reuben de Lautour and mastered by Pieter Snapper.
The “The Epigenesis” cover art was created by the U.K.-based renowned occult artist John Coulthart, who had already collaborated with MELECHESH in the past.
