Danish thrash/death metallers MORDAX have inked a deal with the Belgian label Ultimhate Records. The band’s debut album, “Violence Fraud Treachery”, will be released on CD in Europe (as well as in Israel and Japan) and digitally in the rest of the world on February 24. The CD was recorded at CB Studios and Redhead Recordings in Denmark and mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (BLOODBATH, OPETH, EDGE OF SANITY) at Unisoundin Örebro, Sweden.
Commented MORDAX guitarist Ole Grarup: “We are extremely happy and proud to announce our cooperation with Ultimhate Records. We have chosen to work with Ultimhate Records, because they are able to offer us the dedication and professionalism about metal that we were looking for.
“We’re very happy with the final result of ‘Violence Fraud Treachery’, and working with Dan Swanö turned out to be great.
“Now we’re looking forward to the album hitting the streets and the Internet, so we can focus on live shows in Denmark and Europe, and on writing the next album.”
MORDAX is currently working on spring dates in Denmark as well as a European tour.
