Producer/Engineer KEVIN CHURKO And Son Nominated For Two JUNO AWARDS

Producer and engineer Kevin Churko (pictured below) has been nominated, along with his son Kane Churko, in two categories at this year’s Juno Awards (the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards), set to be held April 15-21 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Churkos are up for the “Producer Of The Year” award for the songs “Blood” and “Adrenalize” from the album “Blood” by IN THIS MOMENT, and “Recording Engineer Of The Year” for “Blood” by IN THIS MOMENT and “Coming Down” by FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, from their album “American Capitalist”. Kevin Churko was previously nominated for five Junos, taking three awards for “Engineer Of The Year” for his work on OZZY OSBOURNE‘s last two albums, “Black Rain” and “Scream”, and “U-Catastrophe” by Simon Collins.

Churko recently completed mixing ROB ZOMBIE‘s new album, “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor”, at Kevin‘s Las Vegas based studio, The Hideout. Churko is currently working on a new album by FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, due out this summer.
