SEBASTIAN BACH Says New Collaborative Track With JOHN 5 Is ‘Sounding Excellent’

SEBASTIAN BACH Says New Collaborative Track With JOHN 5 Is 'Sounding Excellent'Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach is currently in the studio working on his next album with producer Bob Marlette (BLACK SABBATH, ALICE COOPER), who helmed the singer’s last solo CD, 2011’s “Kicking Screaming”. He writes in an online post: “Many of you dig the song ‘TunnelVision’ with John 5 [guitar; ROB ZOMBIE, ex-MARILYN MANSON] from ‘Kicking Screaming’. Well, I am happy to say I have collaborated again with John 5 and the new jam we have come up with is sounding excellent!

“Lyrics and melodies are really coming together now.

“Every day I am writing and laying down ideas.

“Thanks to Johnny Chromatic [guitar] for helping me out with some cool vocal melody lines that I would not have thought of.

“We start tracking the album for reals within the next couple of weeks when Bobby Jarzombek [drums] gets into town. Devin Bronson [AVRIL LAVIGNE, PINK] and Steve Stevens [BILLY IDOL] will be playing the guitars on the record.

“Stay tuned for more updates! New CD coming your way SOON!”

Asked by Italian web radio in a June 2012 interview what the reason is for the frequent lineup changes in his solo band, Bach said, “It’s a very easy answer. It’s all to do with finance. If you get paid a certain amount of money, you can’t pay to play… If I tell a guy in my band, ‘This is what we’re getting. We all have to split it.’ Some guys will be like, ‘Fuck that!’ And I’m like, ‘You know what?! Bye!’ [laughs] ‘Cause it’s a business. When you see me change bandmembers, it’s usually a business decision.”
