“The Unlucky Minority” – the first of two music videos from Swedish sleaze metal band Sister debuts today!
Swedish sleaze and punk influenced metal band SISTER have just released their first music video off their brand new album HATED for the track The Unlucky Minority. Hosting the worldwide premiere of The Unlucky Minority, which was shot and edited by Jimmy Johansson of Super Lino Puro Productions, is BlankTV. Check it out HERE.
Here’s what the band had to say about their new video: “We filmed this video for The Unlucky Minority in one evening without any major plans really but with alotta sweat and beers instead! Keep it simple and keep the SISTER approach to it all. This video represents us and just like the album, we’ve captured the raw and dirty feeling in it. This is a straight rock n’ roll video with no fucking around. Just pure SISTER. The video was shot and edited by independent film maker Jimmy Johansson (creator of Arkusan Martinsson, Brutt, Brunsås the movie) an ‘old friend/drinking pal/roommate to the band’ who has followed and hung out with the band since the beginning.”
SISTER, who hails from Stockholm/Jönkoping Sweden, formed in early 2006 working hard to build up a name as a strong act both live and in the studio. SISTER consists of 4 members- Jamie on vocals, Lestat on guitars and backing vocals, Rikki on bass and backing vocals, and Cari on drums and backing vocals- who combine the sounds of Punk, Glam, Rock, and Metal with an end result sounding something like the bastard child of GG Allin and Guns N’ Roses.
SISTER’s Metal Blade debut HATED came crashing through the metal scene, beer in hand, June 7th, 2011 (N. America). Here’s what folks have had to say about the band’s Metal Blade debut HATED, which can be summed up as a party anthem for headbangers and rockers everywhere.
JAMIE – vocals
LESTAT – guitar backing vocals
RIKKI – bass backing vocals
CARI – drums backing vocals
