Canadian rapper Peter Jackson has dropped a video for his cover of the classic SKID ROW song “18 And Life” featuring another Toronto native, former ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA singer Lukas Rossi. Check it out below.
Jackson‘s new album, “Fresh Start”, features collaborations with Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Sizzla Kalonji, Classified, Krizz Kailko, Karl Wolf, Aleesia and is available online at iTunes.
Peter toured throughout Canada with Styles P in March, and is appearing on select dates with Tyga and Sean Paul in April, before heading out as direct support to SWOLLEN MEMBERS on their European tour.
Jackson is often referred to as “the hardest-working rapper in Canada.” Known for his intense work ethic both in the studio and on the road, Jackson has spent the last several years touring with the likes of French Montana, Jadakiss and Akon.
Jackson gained international recognition with the success of his hit single “Miss Right” featuring Jamaican reggae star Sizzla Kalonji, while his collaboration with Karl Wolf, “#1 Fan”, hit the No. 1 spot at Winnipeg’s Streetz FM, and is in rotation across the country. The success helped Jackson garner a nomination for “Artist Of The Year” at the Toronto Independent Music Awards.
Jackson is currently putting the final touches on his new mixtape “Good Company” which will be hosted by DJ Whoo Kid and DJ Dames Nellas and executive-produced by Tyga. The mixtape will feature Peter collaborating with Tyga, Rick Ross, Ace Hood, Trae Da Truth, Talib Kweli and Troy Ave.
Rossi shot to fame in 2006 when he won the reality series “Rock Star: Supernova” and joined the band featuring veterans Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Jason Newsted (METALLICA, VOIVOD) and Gilby Clarke (GUNS N’ ROSES).
