SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR Singer Joins SEBASTIAN BACH On Stage For SKID ROW Classic

SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor joined Sebastian Bach on stage this past Sunday (May 13) at at this year’s Lazerfest — which took place at the Central Iowa Expo in Boone, Iowa — for a performance of the SKID ROW classic “Youth Gone Wild”. Video footage of Taylor‘s appearance can be seen below.

As previously reported, STONE SOUR‘s fourth studio album is now tentatively going to come out in October. Taylor tweeted the fall release plan, adding that the album has a title but that he “won’t give it away yet.”

The disc is being recorded at Sound Farm Studios, just outside STONE SOUR‘s home base of Des Moines, Iowa.

Guitarist Josh Rand recently said that the album will be “another progression for the band,” adding. “Musically, we have always challenged one another to push things to our limits, and this record is no exception.”

The project — which may end up becoming a double album — will follow up 2010’s “Audio Secrecy”.

Bach completed a short run of North American dates in February and took part in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars tour, which hit the road in South America in late April.

Sebastian‘s new album, “Kicking Screaming”, sold 6,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 73 on The Billboard 200 chart.
