SUICIDE SILENCE Buys Toys For Less Fortunate Kids

California deathcore masters SUICIDE SILENCE auctioned off the shirt the band’s lead singer, Mitch Lucker, wore in their video for the song “You Only Live Once” and spent all of the money buying toys for less fortunate kids. Mitch said, “We assumed [the shirt] was gonna go for like 20 or 30 bucks, but it ended up going for $800.”

Video footage of SUICIDE SILENCE‘s selfless act can be seen below.

SUICIDE SILENCE will support MACHINE HEAD on a North American tour in January/February. Also scheduled to appear on the bill are DARKEST HOUR and RISE TO REMAIN.

SUICIDE SILENCE‘s latest album, “The Black Crown”, sold around 14,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 28 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released in North America on July 12 via Century Media Records.
