German melodic folk/death metallers SUIDAKRA have issued the following update:
“We are still writing new songs for the upcoming album. Six tracks are already finished now. [Famous Belgian graphic artist] Kris Verwimp is again creating the lyrical concept and we will also have a few guest musicians on the new record. Arkadius [Antonik, vocals] will meet [longtime collaborator] Tina Stabel this Friday to work on a new song and we all are excited about the upcoming release.”
SUIDAKRA is tentatively scheduled to enter the studio in January to begin recording its new CD for a mid-2013 release. Arkadius recently told Metal Kaoz, “The songs we have finished [so far] are bombastic and we also finished the first song with Tina‘s female vocals. This time, it’s gonna be a faster song with a real epic and catchy chorus.”
SUIDAKRA‘s tenth album, “Book Of Dowth”, was released on March 25, 2011 via AFM Records. The CD was recorded at Gernhart Studio in Siegburg, Germany with producer Martin Buchwalter. Kris Verwimp once again created the cover artwork and lyrical concept.
