Urb Thrasher of Norml Show Live and Cannabis Cure TV conducted separate interviews with Seattle’s reigning kings of “splatter rock” THE ACCÜSED on August 21 at the 20th-anniversary celebration of Seattle Hempfest, the planet’s largest pot festival.
From August 19 to August 21, hundreds of thousands of activists, politicians, musicians, vendors, media personalities and marijuana lovers gathered in three of Seattle’s waterfront parks for a session of mass proportions.
Speakers and performers took to three main stages to spread the message of cannabis legalization and keep audiences entertained and educated.
In the first clip below, you can hear guitarist Tommy Niemeyer state that Seattle Hempfest is a highlight in THE ACCÜSED‘s career saying, “This was the biggest, most important show, and the coolest thing THE ACCÜSED has ever done.” Tommy and vocalist Kevin Cochneuer also talk about how destructive cannabis prohibition is and how far cannabis freedom has come.
Originally formed in 1981 near Seattle, THE ACCÜSED released seven LPs and several EPs over a period of 30 years.
