VOLBEAT: ’16 Dollars’ To Be Released On Limited-Edition 7" Illustrated Vinyl

“16 Dollars” from Danish metal rock ‘n’ rollers VOLBEAT is being released on a seven-inch illustrated vinyl in a very limited edition. In addition to the studio version, the single features a bonus track with live recordings from the Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The single will be made available on July 11 and can be purchased for 5,99 £ exclusively from U.K.’s What Records. (Note: Only 500 copies are being made available worldwide.)

VOLBEAT will release a new DVD/Blu-ray/CD entitled “Live From Beyond Hell / Above Heaven” on October 10. The set will feature footage captured in both Europe and the U.S. In addition to full concerts, it will contain interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and much more. More information will be made available soon.

VOLBEAT bassist Anders Kjølholm was forced to leave the band’s recent U.S. tour due to personal reasons and returned home to Denmark to be with his family. Filling in for Anders and pulling double duty was Josh Newton from support act THE DAMNED THINGS (and EVERY TIME I DIE).

VOLBEAT‘s latest album, “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven”, was certified gold by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) (The Federal Association of Music Industry) for sales in excess of 100,000 copies in Germany.
